We reach all communities
This Church supports a range of activities that complement our regular worship. The whole community is welcome to Goffs Oak Methodist Church and all activities that widen the use of the church. The Goffs Oak Methodist Church make the premises available to all people . The Church covers many activities for the whole spectrum of ages and cultures . Please come and visit . You are very Welcome.

Hike and Bike, in aid of the Historic Churches Trust, will take place between 10am and 6pm on
Saturday 13th September.
If anyone is willing to welcome folk to our Church with a cold drink, please sign the rota in the vestibule.



The Fete was held on Goffs Oak Playing Field (behind library).
The weather was good to us and with a mixture of sunshine and cloud we had a very successful day at the Fete. The local people of Goffs Oak supported us and everybody enjoyed themselves.
The latest Goffs Oak Village Fete for 2008 was held on Saturday 14th June 2008.
There was many new ATTRACTIONS:-
6 'a' side football - Spinning Demonstrations - Bouncy Castle -
Hog Roast - Fencing - Archery - Balloon Race -
Brass Band -
Hertfordshire Horse Society - Dancing School

- Ice Creams- Teas & Coffee's - Barbeque - Home Made Cakes -
-Tombala - Bookstall - Children's Roundabout-
And This Years Theme for 2008 is ROBIN HOOD
Proceeds was in aid of local village charities.

Tuesday Coffee Mornings
There is a Coffee morning in the Lounge at Goffs Oak Methodist Church every Tuesday morning 10.00am to 12.00 noon at Newgatestreet Road, Goffs Oak.
School Vouchers from Supermarkets.
If anyone has no outlet for, or wonders what they can do with their supermarket vouchers for schools, we will have a box in the vestibule in which you can put them. We can then give them to our local schools.

The Sunday Club desperately need someone to lead a group of children aged between 3-6. The wide range of ages are making things difficult for the current leaders and it is hoped to divide the younger group into two. Please contact Jacqui if you feel you can help.
The Tuesday Circle Coffee Morning is at Goffs Oak Methodist Church from 10.00am to 12.00 am. Welcome to all.

The 50+ Club meet every Wednesday, 200pm to 3.30pm, at the Rosedale Free Church, Andrews Lane , Cheshunt. They have various activities each week.
Can You Help?
We would be most please if you can assist the Stewards in Church activities. There are many things that we need to help the congregation at Goffs Oak Methodist Church. This could be from making coffee to handing out Hymn books. Please contact us.

New Church Members
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Church, or transferring membership, please let me know, Isabel King or someone who will pass on the message to me . We can then have a chat and find a date in the summer to suit those interested. If you are not sure what membership means, but would like to know more about how to show your commitment to God, please speak to a steward or someone who has been in the Church for a while.
